Why Build My Law
Practice Exists

Build My Law Practice was started because I watched firsthand what it takes to build a firm the right way.

Not built on hacks.

Built on systems, discipline, and long-term thinking.

I grew up watching my dad build a law practice from nothing.

No investor money or blueprint.

Just grit, service, and relentless improvement.

But I also saw the stress. The uncertainty. The learning curve that didn't have to be that hard.

Years later, as co-owner of our law firm, I built and refined my own systems and realized something:

  • Most law firm owners aren't failing because they lack talent - they're stuck because they don't know what to fix next.

Build My Law Practice exists to remove that guesswork.

Why BMLP Is Different

Most Law Firm Programs:
  • Focus on marketing before foundation

  • Push growth without control

  • Teach tactics without context

  • Are built by consultants, not firm builders

  • Emphasize revenue over structure

Build My Law Practice:
  • Starts with clarity before scale

  • Fixes foundation before adding fuel

  • Focuses on profitability before volume

  • Teaches systems that reduce chaos

  • Is built from real law firm experience - not theory

  • Built and led by Zach and Brad Baber - bringing 40+ years of combined experience practicing law, including Brad's service as a U.S. Navy JAG Officer.

How do I know this will actually pay for itself?

Most firm owners don’t struggle because they lack effort. They struggle because they’re fixing the wrong things in the wrong order.

When you gain clarity on what actually needs to be fixed, and what doesn’t, you stop wasting time, marketing dollars, and hiring decisions.

The financial return isn’t just in increased revenue. It’s in avoiding expensive mistakes and years of inefficient growth.

This program is designed to create discipline in how you build your firm. That discipline compounds.

Is this just marketing advice, or does it fix deeper issues in my firm?

This is not a marketing program.

Marketing is one part of firm growth, but it’s rarely the root problem.

BMLP starts with clarity: financial structure, client quality, intake systems, workload control, and decision-making frameworks.

Once the foundation is stable, growth becomes strategic instead of reactive.

Marketing without structure creates bigger chaos. We fix structure first.

I'm already overwhelmed - how much time does this require?

You don't need to overhaul your entire firm overnight.

The program is structured so you implement in sequence, not all at once. Most attorneys spend a few focused hours per week reviewing material and applying one clear improvement at a time.

The goal isn't to add work to your plate - it's to reduce unnecessary friction inside your firm so your time becomes more controlled.

Will this work for my practice area and market?

Yes - because this program focuses on fundamentals, not trends.

Financial structure, intake discipline, case selection, profitability, delegation, and long-term planning apply whether you're in criminal defense, personal injury, estate planning, or another practice area.

Who is this program for?

This program is for attorneys who are starting or growing a solo or small firm and want structure, systems, and real profitability - not just more clients.

It's designed for lawyers who are tired of guessing, tired of chasing tactics, and ready for a clear road map built on discipline and long-term stability. It's for the owners who want to build something intentional - a firm that supports their life instead of consuming it.

It is not for attorneys looking for shortcuts, overnight growth hacks, or surface-level marketing tricks without fixing foundational issues.

It's not for firm owners who are unwilling to implement or make hard decisions. And it's not built for people who prefer theory over real-world execution.

What happens after I join?

You'll begin with structured material designed to give you immediate clarity on where your firm stands.

From there, you move through the program in sequence, implementing improvements step by step. You'll have access to coaching for guidance and accountability as you apply the frameworks to your specific firm.

There's no confusion about where to start.

The process is deliberate.
